Aj with shotgun.

So I made this guy in the Pony Maker thing.

It was a challenge to create a pony that did not fall into common OC stereotypes, but I think I succeeded, because my pony is utterly dripping with class.

What part of Texas are you in ?
Cause Waco here apparently almost had a tornado.
One hit Austin or Dallas and was coming for us.

Speaking of G1, I don't understand all the hate coming from it. I mean, the awesome thing we have the luck to appreciate right now just had to start from somewhere. If it wasn't by G1, all we call MLP: the TV show would never exist. So despite the hate, I say we owe to it more than anything.

I lived in Central Texas, the Hill Country near Austin.

Weather was less predictable than HL3's release date.

If you had Pinkie Pie predicting the weather then you have no problems, she can predict when HL3 will be released.

It is always later, but when it does come out it will be worth the wait.

Yea, I knew it was shopped. I was looking for more creative answers though.

Inter-dimensional time travel related answers, but oh well.

What is interesting though is that it shows that most of the G4 characters are based on a G1 character in some way or another. It seems like the show's creators has decided to bring them all back from previous generations.

I was not implying that I had a problem with the G1 series in any way. All of that is in the past. I don't really have an opinion about it one way or another.

Although, I've seen some video clips of the G1 series and while most of it is unbearably lame, it also has some badassery too.

Particularly the villians. G1 had way more badass villains.

It's G3 that I think everyone has a problem with. That one is impossible to watch.

It's getting better, but I need more crazy to pull out the Freud goggles. Come on Cereal! GET IN THE SHOWER WITH IT LIKE A TRUE OBSESSED NERD!

Anyways, don't worry BSOD, finished Dragon Quest and Hurricane Fluttershy. Those were actually pretty great, and I'm looking forward to Ponyville Confidential. I sure do love me some Cutie Mark Crusaders. Wonder where I'll find that elusive 4th episode… Anyone know where Studio B is located?

Also, at some point, Rarity passed Pinkie Pie to be my second favourite pony. Right after Applejack, of course. Not sure what to make of this.

Well, finally watched the new episode, and I have to say, this one was decent. The journalism episode has been done to death in pretty much every cartoon out there, but the writers managed to keep it fresh and interesting. I really enjoyed most of it, but here's the thing…
The ending was terrible. Everypony was bloody out of character. Especially Rainbow Dash. I know that she can be tough, but seriously, she went Gilda mode with the following and raining on the Cutie Mark Crusaders. I'll admit that it was funny when AJ and Big Mac switched personalities, but as for everyone else, ugh.

I suppose it's not their fault though, trying to cram so much into an episode, with both entertainment and education being factored in. The ~22 minute time limit seems to really restrain the writers in more than a few episodes.

I SAY THAT THE HUB SHOULD MAKE ALL EPISODES RUN FOR TWICE AS LONG!

Maybe I'm pushing it a little, but who wouldn't want to see less plot holes, more complex (but still child friendly) stories, and best of all, more ponies a week! All they really need is a good 5 minutes to really solidify that lesson at the end, while also giving them ample time to write bettet, less rushed endings.

But there would either be more time between seasons or less episodes.

That or we would have to sacrifice animation, voicing, writing, music, etc. quality. Maybe all of them.

In fact, if you think about it. She didn't follow them, they had their "open letter newspaper" with them so they probably went to her and asked her to read it and she got mad because she thought it was another gossip column.

And Fluttershy crying is pretty much in character as is Twilight's "CREATE A FORCEFIELD AND NEVER LEAVE THE LIBRARY AGAIN OH SWEET BOOKS!"
