That's what I thought. I remember Connor once change his name to Berry Punch to impersonate the other, and artifact URLs still work. For example: https://knowyourmeme.com/users/citationneeded redirects to my page. However, opspe said that Connor told him he was Berry.

Well, I do remember there being another user besides the drunk we know and love named Berry. Search "Berry Punch" under the users section of the search function, and see if Conor's name pops up. Maybe. All I know is that when he gets on Steam, I'm going to have a little chat with him.

About Connor/Berry: This was inevitable. I think it was probably best that it was revealed this way; if Connor had come out and said it it might have got…tetchy. The question is: will the RP continue? It'll never be the same, but it was pretty good for what it was.

Imo, it might. Connor being Berry won't really effect it that much. Just keep thinking that Berry is actually Berry, like we do for Colgate.

Oh boy, where to begin…

First of all, thanks everyone who supports me and enjoyed my RPing. It means just as much to me as those of you who like my stories.
Next, to those of you who are disappoint/mad/ have "lost all respect" for me. I'm sorry that you disliked it. I never meant to offend anyone. (Well, I did sometimes, but you get what I mean I hope.)

Now, like with a fic, I want reviews. Did you like it? How believable was it? Any comments? Or advice you want? (Yes, I know I'm being full of myself thinking people would want advice from me.) Any feedback at all is appreciated.

((I'm not sure if I will continue, like opspe said, it won't be the same knowing who it is. I'm also writing a fic with Berry in it. So our adventure may be coming to an end.))

Can Earth pony’s special skill be understanding this strange form of natural magic?

Can it? Yeah, it's feasible. And I think there is a touch of innate magic to it, but also the understanding of the land and its creatures (essentially, an earth equivalent of a Pegasus who has the magical quality of being able to touch clouds and understanding how to use that to make weather.)
 
Now there are some consistencies and inconsistencies when trying to understand Equestria in relation to our universe. Equestria has magic, only rare spots where weather occurs without Pegasi influence, and animals need a basic level of care. But ponies do reproduce as they do in our reality. Is it magical or is it an understanding of nature? Or is it an understanding of magic present in nature?

Perhaps some flora grow all on their own (Rarity faints,) but maybe some particular crops or plants need special help like animals do. If pegasi know how to manipulate the weather through being innately magical, and unicorns know how to manipulate magic in the atmosphere (assuming that it isn't completely formed from inside of a unicorn,) then perhaps earth ponies know how to manipulate the life of their earth (i.e., plants and animals.)

Fluttershy was meant to be an earth pony at first, and Applejack and her family are certainly in-tune with farming. Cheerilee is good with foals, and Pinkie's family…harvested rocks…

I say it's magical in the sense that some ways of thinking come more easily to some humans than others, but also that Earth Ponies have a "green hoof" that makes them superior to other races in farming and caring for animals. Unicorns should have been able to farm food in the time that was portrayed in Hearth's Warming Eve, given that they have a greater capability to move objects, but they relied on Earth Ponies to make food.

Surely, that means either Unicorns don't understand the land/don't have this hypothetical "green hoof," or Earth Ponies have the only functioning understanding of farming/have the only "green hoof." Their alternative to making food was to rely on Earth Ponies historically: something they really didn't want to do.

That likely means that it's something that can't be learned easily. There is an understanding involved, but I think you're right in that there is something innate about Earth Ponies that make them particularly good at farming.
