so i was wondering, with the prevalence and popularity of dance gifs (and related memes such as Party Hard) on the internet, should there be an entry (or perhaps sub-entry of the GIF page) for dance gifs in general?

i'm talking about stuff without text, mostly. just gifs of people dancing, you know the type:

any thoughts? would it be okay if someone else or i made this?

As for dance entries, we already have the following:

• X Raves
• Party Hard
• Everyday I'm Shuffling
• The Club Can't Even Handle Me Right Now
• Plus also one gif related dance memes like Dancing Baby, Dancing Spider-Man and Dancing Bear.

But yes, the difference with those is that they require a specific caption or other type of photoshop, whereas what you mean just requires dancing gifs. Can't say if we need one, we also not if we don't. I'll leave that answer to others for now.

What is it with the Meme Research area never getting any attention paid to it?

I think this would be a great umbrella entry, we have many dancing gifs, a entry to put them as a series would be necessary.

August day, you may have the honors of making it a entry. Get a moderator to help you make it a series, (I suggest RandomMan, he's a personal favorite.) Add me as a editor, and when I get back to camp I'll make it a beautiful entry.
