About
๐ช Chair Emoji on TikTok refers to a tendency among TikTok users to spam the Chair Emoji in comments. It appears to be a prank organized by user blank.antho and possibly KSI to confuse others by using the chair emoji in place of the laughing emoji, though some have speculated that it may have an NSFW meaning.
Origin
On September 8th, 2021, TikTok user blank.antho posted a video telling his followers that they would raid KSI by using the chair emoji instead of the laughing emoji. The video gained over 18,000 likes (shown below).

Spread
The same day as blank.antho's post, KSI posted a TikTok video[1] with the chair emoji in the description, leading to speculation that he was in on the prank.[2] Over the following week, users began to flood KSI's and other comment sections with chair emoji. This led to confusion online as to what the chair emoji meant. On September 10th, 2021, Redditor LukeMcDuck asked a question about the chair's meaning in /r/OutOfTheLoop.[3] On September 12th, Twitter user @seijatachi7[4] asked why TikTok users were using the chair emoji (shown below).
There has been speculation and debate about the meme's origin and meaning. Distractify[2] pointed out a November 2020 video in which KSI demonstrates his infectious laugh by laughing at a chair as a potential origin of the meme (shown below). Distractify also suggested the chair emoji may have a sexual meaning, quoting a Redditor who stated the emoji is being used to mean "I would like X to sit on my face," though others have disputed this interpretation.
