About
The Anarcho-Brat Flag refers to a flag that combines the Anarcho-Primitivism flag with the cover of pop artist Charli XCX's 2024 album brat. The flag is divided by one diagonal line. It's half black and half green, akin to the lime green brat cover used in memes like Brat Summer. The Anarcho-Brat Flag went viral when it was seen in a viral video, posted to Twitter / X in August 2024, at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) being flown by a protestor in the pro-Palestine March at the event. On the last day of the DNC, an Anarcho-Brat Flag was burned, likely related to the original video. The Anarcho-Brat Flag was criticized en masse by pro-Palestinian protesters and voices online who believed that it was an insult to the protests. Others disliked it because it was cringe, while some were confused about the backlash it received. The flag was seemingly inspired by brat becoming intertwined with U.S. Vice President and Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris via the Kamala Is Brat meme.
