And Then He Clicked Post or And Then They Clicked Post is an exploitable reaction image meme that depicts two people about to dap each other up under the caption, "And then he clicked post," meant to make fun of someone for posting something deemed cringeworthy or otherwise stupid.

The meme first appeared online in June 2025 on iFunny and spread over the following months as a reaction image. It is largely used in comment sections on sites including TikTok, Instagram Reels and X / Twitter as a way of calling someone out for a bad post, and is most commonly associated with an image from Diary of a Wimpy Kid of Greg urgently telling Rowley something, with shocked and scared expressions on their faces.

The other most commonly associated image shows two people dapping each other up, which originates from a frame in One Piece where Kuzan and Luffy's grandfather, Monkey D. Garp, fight.

Origin

On June 29th, 2025, iFunny^[1] user BateMaster69 posted an image macro meme using a drawing from the book Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days, where Greg tells Rowley a story and freaks him out. Greg is shown sitting on the edge of his bed, and Rowley is kneeling on the floor, shocked. The post gained six smiles in a year.

Spread

The meme spread over the following months. On July 10th, 2025, it was posted to Tenor^[2] by user wqewqewqewq. On July 15th, TikToker^[3] @dlineslzcms posted it to over 45,000 views in a year.

As early as August 2nd, 2025, a version of the meme showing Greg and Rowley about to dap each other up under the same caption began going viral. TikToker^[4] @n.u.k.3 is the earliest known user to post the image on that day, gaining over 26,000 views in a year, although they do not appear to be the account that created the meme.

On August 6th, a higher resolution version of the meme was posted to the /r/LodedDiper^[5] subreddit to over 90 upvotes in a year. The dapping image is a redraw of a frame from One Piece episode 1121, where Garp and Kuzan fight.^[6]

On December 9th, 2025, TikToker^[7] @stuartmacherglazer posted a video of themselves flipping to the page of Dog Days from which the original version of the meme originates, garnering over one million views in seven months.

On January 1st, 2026, TikToker^[8] @defnotcat_19752 posted a video compiling numerous memes from Diary of a Wimpy Kid, including this meme, garnering over 2 million views in six months.
