About
Anya's "I Like This Show" is an exploitable meme format in which SPY x Family character Anya Forger points at a TV screen and comments that she likes the TV show. The format has primarily been used by the anime community to express love for various anime series by photoshopping what's displayed on the TV screen.
Origin
On April 9th, 2022, episode one, titled "Operation Strix," of the anime series SPY x FAMILY premiered.[1] In the episode, the character Anya Forger turns on the TV where the show "Spy Wars" is on, pointing at the screen and commenting that she likes this show (scene shown below).

Starting on the same day, users on social media started replacing the image on the screen with images from various shows and films, particularly from anime series. On April 9th, 2022, Twitter[2] user @Mattgamer003 posted the earliest edit of the frame, replacing the image on the screen with a still frame from the Fire Force anime series (shown below, left). The post gained over 40 retweets and 380 likes in 10 days. Also on that day, Twitter[3] user @Shaulataan posted a recursion edit of the image, which received 10 retweets and 40 likes in a similar timeframe (shown below, right).
Spread
In the following days, the format gained major virality in anime communities, particularly in the /r/goodanimemes subreddit and in anime groups on Facebook. For example, on April 10th, 2022, Redditor[4] Zallre posted a meme in which Anya pointed at a frame from SPY x FAMILY that gained over 2,600 upvotes in nine days (shown below, left). On April 11th, 2022, Facebook[5] page Kaizoku-ō Designs posted a One Piece version of the image that gained over 6,900 reactions and 1,400 shares in eight days (shown below, right).
The format maintained virality through mid-April 2022, with many notable examples posted on Reddit, Facebook and Instagram. For example, a My Dress-Up Darling meme posted by Facebook[6] page Anime Time on April 11th gained over 25,000 reactions and 3,200 shares in eight days.
