Origin

On January 24th, 2025, X^[1] user @handji_kyle posted a two-panel webcomic and fan art based on the manhwa-style visual novel Alien Stage. The panels show a conversation between Ivan and Till, with the character Ivan becoming hyperrealistic, similar to the How Hungry":https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/man-im-so-hungry-how-hungry meme. The post (seen below) amassed over 942,000 views and 28,000 likes in four days.

The webcomic was reposted by X^[2] user @mafureid a few days later, on January 27th, 2025, who made a redraw of the panel featuring the Scott Pilgrim graphic novel (seen below), which amassed over 585,000 views and 47,000 likes in a day.

On January 28th, 2025, X^[3] user @fallowfrog posted a version of the webcomic featuring Dante and Virgil from the Devil May Cry game franchise. The post (seen below) received roughly 7,700 views and 752 likes in a few hours.
