Cereal When Haves Milk is an exploitable meme comparing the Super Mario characters Dry Bowser and Regular Bowser as "cereal when no milk" and "cereal when haves milk." Originally created as an ironic joke image, the joke has seen multiple revisions and exploitable edits.

Origin

The original image was created by YouTuber CallMeCarson, posted in a Discord chat video "The Most Cursed Images 3"^[1] (shown below) Throughout the video, the image is uploaded a numerous amount of times.

"It's so disgustingly garbage, and I made it. And that's why I'm Going to keep promoting it. -Carson

Shortly after the video's publication, on February 8th, 2019, Carson uploaded the image onto his Twitter account, amassing nearly 5,000 retweets and 30,000 likes.

Spread

In the replies to Carson's tweet, Twitter users began posting their own variations. Examples include a tweet by Sykairius Rex using Nicholas Cage that gained over 470 likes (shown below, left) and a tweet by @Dovaxhull using Minecraft characters that gained over 120 likes (shown below, right).

The day after the initial video upload, the image was reposted to the /r/CallMeCarson subreddit by user Astro_Zach, gaining over 1000 upvotes.^[2]

The meme spread primarily in /r/CallMeCarson. Examples there include a Sonic 2019 Film meme that gained over 920 points (shown below, left) and a You Guys Always Act Like You're Better Than Me meme posted by dumbfuckingbitch1852 that gained over 350 points (shown below, right).
