CallMeCarson Crying Next to Joe Swanson, also known as Traumatized Carson, refers to an object labeled image macro series based on a screencap of streamer CallMeCarson crying at his computer while a figurine of the character Joe Swanson from Family Guy can be seen smiling while holding a baseball bat in the background. The images are typically captioned with Swanson labeled as an aggressor and CallMeCarson labeled as their victim.

Origin

On June 24th, 2019, CallMeCarson fell into a trap while streaming the video game Minecraft on Twitch,^[3] leading him to have a dramatic reaction while falling to his death (shown below).

On August 5th, 2019, Redditor Im_expl0sive^[1] submitted the picture of CallMeCarson reacting to the Minecraft death next to a Joe Swanson action figure photoshopped into the background to /r/CallMeCarson (shown below). Within 18 days, the post gathered upwards of 2,100 points (100% upvoted).

On August 22nd, 2019, Redditor JRodFTW_123^[2] submitted the picture with Swanson labeled as the character Karen and CallMeCarson as a "cashier doing their job" (shown below). Within 24 hours, the post gained over 16,200 points (98% upvoted) and 80 comments on /r/dankmemes.

The following day, Redditor MemeMePhotoshop submitted the image captioned with a joke about making a vegan Subway employee to /r/dankmemes^[4] (shown below, left).
