Crying Aqua refers to two faces made by KonoSuba character Aqua in its anime adaptation; the former of them is also referred to as Screaming Aqua, and the latter as Pouting Aqua. Those faces were used in various memes, as well as redrawn or edited to fit other characters.

Origin

One recurring gag of KonoSuba is Aqua, one of the party members, being driven to tears after being scolded or humiliated, most often due to her stupidity and incompetence.
On February 15th, 2017, the 6th episode of season 2 of the anime adaptation first aired. In one scene, Aqua gets yelled at by Kazuma Satou for drawing the enemy's attention towards them, which causes Aqua to throw a temper tantrum. The Screaming Aqua meme is a screenshot of her face at the end of this tantrum.

On February 23rd, 2017, the 7th episode of the season aired. In one scene, after being scolded by Kazuma Satou, Aqua looks at him from below with a pout and tears in her eyes.
