55 Burgers 55 Fries 55 Tacos 55 Pies is a copypasta derived from a skit on the Netflix comedy show I Think You Should Leave With Tim Robinson. The sketch, involving a pay-it-forward chain gone wrong, was a highlight of the third season of the show and quickly became spammed on the internet after its release in late May 2023.
Origin
On May 30th, 2023, the third season of I Think You Should Leave With Tim Robinson was released on Netflix, with this sketch being rapidly favored by fans of the show and spread online. The sketch involves Robinson's character buying a drink at a fast food restaurant and then trying to initiate a pay-it-forward chain, by also agreeing to buy the food of the truck behind him. When this is completed, he quickly speeds back into the drive-thru in an attempt to order an obscene amount of food, thinking the truck will follow the trend and pay for all of it unsuspectingly. This scene was uploaded to YouTube on May 31st by the channel JustAnotherChannel,[1] where it racked up over 100,000 views in one week (shown below).

The same day of season three's release, the "55 Burgers 55 Fries 55 Tacos 55" order from the show was first uploaded to Reddit by Redditor lonelygagger, who shared a screenshot of the skit to the /r/IThinkYouShouldLeave[4] subreddit, receiving 30 upvotes and 17 comments in roughly a week (seen below).
Spread
In late May and early June 2023, the long form of the order (55 Burgers, 55 Fries, 55 Tacos, 55 Pies, 55 Cokes, 100 Tater Tots, 100 Pizzas, 100 Tenders, 100 Meatballs, 100 Coffees, 55 Wings, 55 Shakes, 55 Pancakes, 55 Pastas, 55 Peppers, and 155 Taters for the price of $680) would be posted as a reference to the show around social media, often with images of people screaming or looking frantic.
For example, on June 2nd, 2023, the Cleveland Cavaliers[2] official Twitter account used an image of Isaac Okoro yelling alongside the copypasta, earning over 540,000 views in four days (shown below).
On June 4th, 2023, Twitter user @BinAnimals[3] uploaded a picture of a family of raccoons at a drive-thru with the entire order posted as the caption, gaining over 20,000 views and 160 likes in two days and expanding the meme format by including animals begging for food (shown below).
