About

The Cursed Frogurt is a cursed yogurt mentioned in a famous dialog from the TV show The Simpsons. This dialog has been used as a copypasta for situations with many positive and negative sides to consider, and has also often been referenced in Simpsons shitposting.

Origin

Th 5th episode of season 4 of The Simpsons, Treehouse Of Horrors III, premiered on Fox on October 29th, 1992. At the beginning of the story Clown Without Pity, Homer has this exchange with the shopkeeper of the House of Evil:

- Do you sell toys?
- We sell forbidden objects from places men dare to tread. We also sell frozen yogurt, which I call "frogurt".
- Well, I need something for my son's birthday.
- Ah, perhaps this will please the gentleman. [picks a Krusty the Clown doll] Take this object, but beware it carries a terrible curse.
- Ooooh, that's bad.
- But it comes with a free frogurt.
- That's good.
- The frogurt is also cursed.
- That's bad.
- But you get your choice of topping.
- That's good.
- The toppings contain potassium benzoate.
- …
- That's bad.
- Can I go now?
