On November 9th, 2025, TikToker^[1] @newwstar posted a video of herself approaching Cynthia Erivo in Paris and telling her that she has a hat that Erivo lost at the Wicked premiere in London, England. Erivo reacts with dramatic surprise, backing away and putting her hand over her heart. The TikToker shows her an image of the hat on her phone, and Erivo asks for it back, but the TikToker says she doesn't have it on her. They set up a way for her to send the hat back to Erivo. The TikToker asks for tickets to the premiere of Wicked: For Good and Erivo promises to set her up with tickets.

The video gained over 27.9 million views and 4.9 million likes in two days.

On November 9th, 2025, X^[2] user @physicallyxweak posted two images of Erivo reacting from the video, writing, "rare aesthetic: you found Cynthia's lost hat," garnering over 13,000 likes in two days.
