D Se Dab (or Nick India Dab) is the nickname for a video posted by Nickelodeon India in which characters on their shows dab to a song. The video has been used in numerous remix videos.
Origin
On September 4th of 2017, the Facebook page for Nick India uploaded a video entitled "Teacher's Day: Guru Cool"[1] The video contained a boy taking attendance, featuring characters from the shows Motu Patlu, Gattu Battu and Ninja Hattori. The shows a child from Motu Patlu taking attendance with said characters, then afterwards defining the dab. Afterwards, all of the characters dab. As of November of 2017, it has 2 million views, 53 thousand likes and 17 thousand shares.
Spread
Three days afterwards on September 7th of 2017, a YouTuber by the name of Pileabones uploaded the first meme entitled "INDIAN SONG ABOUT DABBING". In this video, when the boy dabs the audio turns to ear-rape. As of October of 2017, the video has 19k views and 500+ likes. One day later, a video was uploaded by Cartoon Shitposts entitled "Nick India Dab Video, but every time the boy says "dab" it gets bass boosted and sharpened". As of October of 2017, the video has 121k+ views and 4.6k+ likes. It is currently the most viewed remix.
