The Kulhad Pizza Video, also known as the Kulhad Pizza Viral Video, refers to a leaked video allegedly showing Punjabi couple Sehaj Arora and Gurpreet Kaur, who own a viral pizza restaurant, having intercourse. The viral video was leaked on the Indian and Pakistani web in mid-2023, shortly after the couple went viral for a "pizza cone" video on Instagram. The leaked video that allegedly showed them led to controversy for the couple, resulting in harassment online and in real life. The couple alleged that the video was fake and AI-generated and that someone was trying to blackmail them. In April 2024, news of a new Kulhad Pizza video spread online (unconfirmed).

Origin

The Kulhad Pizza couple originally went viral when Instagram^[1] user @therealharryuppal posted a Reel on July 10th, 2022, of them making cheese pizza cones in kulhads (small, clay chai cups) in Jalandhar, Punjab, India, gaining over 4.9 million likes in two years. @therealharryuppal also posted a full-length video about them to YouTube^[2] on July 11th, gaining over 3.4 million views in two years (shown below).

Going into 2023, the couple received increased engagement on their personal Instagram^[3][4] accounts @kaurgeous_roop and @sehaj_arora_, amassing over 650,000 followers and 1.2 million followers, respectively, by April 2024.

Starting on September 20th, 2023, rumors of a leaked video showing the couple having intercourse spread on Telegram and Twitter / X. ^[5] An X account called @ksvirk120619 was shown spreading the video during the timeframe in screenshots shared by blogs^[6] (shown below, left). The account has since been suspended.

TikTokers^[11] shared screenshots of the Telegram group where the video was originally leaked (shown below, right).

Spread

On September 20th, 2023, Sehaj Arora posted a video on his Instagram (since deleted) in which he addressed the video that was circulating, claiming that it was AI-generated and that someone was trying to blackmail him and his wife. He said that he had contacted the local police and an investigation was underway. The video was reposted by TikToker^[7] @hassiyakaro on the day of (shown below).

Many reacted to the video leak in the days that followed. For instance, X^[8] user @lakshayonly tweeted, "What happened with the Kulhad Pizza couple was very unfortunate… Just dont forward and share the video, the least we can do for them!," receiving over 9,300 likes in seven months (shown below).

On September 24th, 2023, Facebook^[9] user Super Khalsa – Pro Wrestler posted a reaction video in which he reacted to many memes made about the Kulhad Pizza leak. Super Khalsa portrayed disappointment concerning the spread of the memes online, earning over 1 million views and 16,000 reactions in seven months (shown below).

Shortly after his first response, Sehaj Arora posted another video in which he was more emotional, reiterating that the spread of the viral video and the rumors surrounding it were affecting the mental health of his wife who had just given birth to their newborn son.

The video was reposted by X^[10] user @ruchikokcha on September 22nd, 2023, gaining over 6,500 likes in seven months (shown below).
