Demoman Finds Out refers to a series of videos in which Team Fortress 2 character Demoman discovers that Spy and other characters are secretly furries, or have other specific inclinations. Originating from a viral 15.ai -generated audio, the trend gained popularity on Twitter and YouTube in January 2021.
Origin
On January 9th, 2021, Twitter[1] user @Piemations posted a 46 second audio clip in which Team Fortress 2 character Demoman confronts Spy about a fursona drawing he found in his locker, with Demoman's and Spy's dialogue vocalized with 15.ai text-to-speech generator. The video received over 266,000 views, 9,600 retweets and 31,800 likes in one month (shown below).

Starting on January 10th, 2021, a number of animated videos which used the audio were posted online. On January 10th, 2021, Twitter[2] user @RandyBnipsVRC posted a version created in VRChat that received over 57,000 views in one month. On the same day, Twitter[3] user @andersonanimate posted a version created in Source Filmmaker that gained over 194,000 views in the same period (shown below). On January 11th, 2021, YouTuber[4] SilentManJoe posted another SFM version of the meme that gained over 440,000 views in one month.

Following the viral spread of @Piemations and video remakes in the following days, multiple users on Twitter and YouTube posted audio and video clips of Demoman discovering other Team Fortress 2 characters having certain inclinations created with 15.ai. For example, on January 10th, 2021, Twitter[5] user @snooz_ey posted one of the earliest derivative memes within the format (shown below).
