Pyro Sitting Down, otherwise known as "Sitting Pyro", is a series of images of which a sitting Pyro is photoshopped into a picture, making it look like he's (or she's, no one really knows what gender he is) sitting in the scene either in front of something burning, paying attention, relaxing, or goofing off.

Origin

Pyro Sitting Down originates from a Team Fortress 2 website comic, "True Meaning"^[1]. The comic features the Engineer and Pyro, characters from the popular online game Team Fortress 2. The comic shows the Engineer reading a story reminiscent of both the Three Wise Men ^[2] and Santa Claus ^[3]. On the 2nd page ^[4] the Pyro is seen sitting with his hands supporting his head in a listening stance.

bnui_ransder on the Steam fourms posted a thread called, "That Pyro sitting down is a lot more amazing than it seems"^[2] about it.

Searching "Sitting Pyro" on Tumblr^[7] comes up with some very interesting results. Recently, the search "Pyro" on Tumblr^[8] has been dominated by Pyro Sitting Down images. DeviantART hasn't caught the fire, yet. The Steam Forum it originated from^[6] is the main source of Sitting Pyro images.
