Origin

The earliest available version of the meme was posted by an unknown Redditor on the /r/me_irl^[1][2] subreddit on December 19th, 2017 (shown below).

Spread

Over the next two years, the meme continued to spread around the internet, including a version that added the Meme Man. On July 27th, 2019, Redditor PandaParadeYT posted a variation in the /r/HydroHomies^[3]. They captioned the image, "When you drink a fat amount of water and then your pee comes out clear." The post received more than 100 points (100% upvoted) in less than two years (shown below, left).

Later that year, on September 20th, Redditor RedMemeStone shared a variation with the caption "Obi-wan at the end of revenge of the sith." The post received more than 2,300 points (95% upvoted) in less than one year (shown below, center).

On October 5th, Redditor Eliastar_rebooted shared a variation featuring a bee with the caption "The Bee Is Declared The Most Important Living Being On The Planet." The post received more than 32,000 views (97% upvoted) and 200 comments in less than one year (shown below, right).
