Don't Care, Didn't Ask, My Boobs Bounce When I Walk refers to a catchphrase posted on Twitter / X in April 2022, which later inspired a redraw trend on the platform in June 2024. The trend consisted of drawing anime, video games and other memorable characters from pop culture with large breasts, pairing them with the catchphrase "don't care, didn't ask, my boobs bounce when I walk."
Origin
The catchphrase was first posted on X[1] by user @habanerocoochie on April 5th, 2022. The "don't care didn't ask plus my boobs jiggle when I walk" tweet (seen below) amassed more than 100,000 likes and 20,000 reposts in two years.
A few years later, on June 6th, 2024, Instagram[2] user @fairybunnycupcake posted the 3D drawing of a woman with the overlay caption, "Don't care, didn't ask, my boobs bounce when I walk." The image was then reposted on X[3] by user @northstardoll, which received over 119,000 likes and 24,000 reposts in five days.
Spread
@northstardoll's tweet quickly went viral on X, inspiring netizens to redraw @fairybunnycupcake's meme adding characters known for their big breasts. For example, on June 9th, 2024, X[4] user @k__r__xx posted a version of the meme replacing the woman with the One Piece character Zoro. The post (seen below, left) amassed more than 17,000 likes and 2,600 reposts in two days.
On June 10th, 2024, X[5] user @BowieTea posted a redraw of the meme featuring Lady Maria from the video game Bloodborne (seen below, right), which garnered more than 1,400 likes and 194 reposts in a day.
