About

"Drake, Where's the Door Hole?" refers to the scene from the Nickelodeon television series Drake & Josh, featuring the two main protagonists, Drake and Josh, stuck in a treehouse with no doorways. The scene has become a subject of exploitable images and video remixes of the scene.

Origin

The original scene aired in the 2007 Drake & Josh episode "Tree House," in which Drake blows up the tree house of a neighbor with a model rocket. As a way to mend it, Drake, Josh and Megan promise to rebuild the tree house for him and his parents. As they were almost finished with the house, they attach the last wall piece, while being inside the house at the same time. Josh then notices that there was no door hole to come in and out of the house, leaving them stuck inside. Josh then asks Drake where is the door hole, since Drake was the one responsible on cutting the hole in the wall. Drake tells Josh that he drew the door hole with Magic Marker, so that he'd cut it later with a power saw. Josh then tells him to go get the power saw, since it was outside. Drake, unaware that they were stuck, tries to walk through the wall where the painted door is, resulting in him hitting himself against the wall, realizing then that they are stuck.

The post received over 10,000 upvotes (shown below).

On March 19th of 2018, YouTube user SuperWiiBors08 uploaded a Minecraft version of the scene, showing Drake and Josh being stuck inside a house made of wood planks, receiving over 300,000 views (shown below, left). On March 26th of 2018, YouTube user chachacharly08 uploaded a video edit of the scene taking place in the popular PC game Fortnite, showing Drake and Josh being stuck inside a small hut made out of wood from the game as they're slowly dying from the purple storm mechanic within the game, receiving over 50k views (shown below, right).

I want a Drake and Josh reboot where they get into surreal or paranormal situations but their personalities and character dynamic are exactly the same.

Without Dan "Get in the Van" Schneider involved, obviously.
