Overview
Alex Kister Grooming Allegations refer to accusations of predatory and grooming behavior aimed at "The Mandela Catalogue" web series creator and YouTuber Alex Kister, alleging that the content creator started a group chat with his fans, some of them minors, in which he would exhibit predatory behavior by sharing pictures of himself and engaging in inappropriate conversations with minors exploiting his status as a YouTuber. The allegations stem from March 2024 after Twitter / X user @STIRRINGJUICE, who alleged being in an abusive relationship with Kister between April and June 2023, shared a Google Doc with purported evidence and a timeline of the accusations against the creator. The controversy resulted in a series of reactions from fans and netizens on social media, many expressing their disbelief and astonishment at the accusations. Kister notably denied the accusations after they emerged, promising he would post a response with evidence disproving them.
Background
On March 12th, 2024, X[1] user @STIRRINGJUICE tweeted a Google Docs[2] file titled "Call Out for Alex Kister," which contained a series of allegations against YouTuber Alex Kister, creator of "The Mandela Catalogue" web series, claiming he had shown predatory and manipulative behavior. The document compiled a series of screenshots and testimonies from Kister's fans, some of them minors, stating that the file shows "Alex’s empty promises and manipulation." The post (shown below) amassed over 22,000 likes and 12,000 retweets in a day.
In several parts of the document, @STIRRINGJUICE alleges Kister had relationship issues with his fanbase, often engaging in parasocial relationships with fans (alleged screenshots shown below).
According to their post, @STIRRINGJUICE said they had reached a limit with the relationship with the creator when "Alex started talking about wanting to create a group chat with some of his fans on the server. I quickly messaged Alex expressing my concern about this because I knew it would come off as weird and controversial for a creator to make a group chat with mainly minors" (screenshots shown below).
Victim DB
An anonymous person and fan of the YouTuber, described as Victim DB in the document, shared transcripts and allegations showing the purported relationship they developed with Alex Kister, stating that he "love-bombed this person in order to receive his wants. Their conversation after this would heavily go into sexual territory because that’s what Alex wanted from the beginning," as the file stated (screenshots seen below).
Grooming Allegations
Throughout the 27-page document, @STIRRINGJUICE mentioned instances in which creator Alex Kister had allegedly engaged in inappropriate conversations with some of his underage fans. For instance, in a particular part of the file, @STIRRINGJUICE alleged Kister "would send photos to a 14-year-old of him wearing a cat-maid outfit and discuss his gender identity personally. He then apologized for talking about such topics with them" (screenshots shown below).
@STIRRINGJUICE also alleged in the document that Kister had a "reoccurring issue where Alex would discuss his private life with minors."
