"Beabadoobee Can't Sing" NBA YoungBoy Meme Crashout refers to pop artist Beabadoobee's negative reaction and rant to an artists who can sing vs. artists who can't sing meme joking that Beabadoobee can't sing while rapper NBA YoungBoy can, the meme showing YoungBoy singing opera while lasers come out of his eyes. The punchline of the joke is meant to be that Beabadoobee actually can sing. In February 2025, the meme inspired her to make a video calling out incel men for targeting her. The post was poorly received by many, who thought her claims were sexist towards men and that she fell for rage bait. She later posted another video claiming she wasn't mad about the meme itself but about the harassing comments that it and similar memes fuelled.

On January 8th, 2025, TikToker^[10] DGM posted a version of the "artists who can sing vs. artists who can't sing" meme using Beabadoobee as the artist who can't sing and NBA YoungBoy, blasting lasers from his eyes with his audio replaced with a choir, as an artist who can sing, garnering over 3.6 million views in a month.

On January 13th, 2025, TikToker^[1] @maxxvillan posted another version of the meme with a clip of Beabadoobee singing, followed by a clip of NBA YoungBoy set to opera music,g arnering over 5.4 million views in a month.

There are several other memes making a similar joke about Beabadoobee being unable to sing while showing her singing well, but this is the most viral example.

On February 21st, Beabadoobee posted a series of videos on her TikTok Story in which she reacted negatively to the meme. In the Story, she directly calls the meme out and claims the guys who support the meme get no girls and their mothers don't love them, saying she's stalked their profiles. She stated it "doesn't hurt" and they're probably mad. She then says, "Who gives a fuck" and flexes having more money than the people sharing the memes. She then proceeds to call the men "incels" and says she's blocking them.

The video was reuploaded by X^[2] user @ak8inu that day, captioned, "She fell for the ragebait 😭😭💔💔💔," garnering over 80,000 likes in three days.

Developments

The original video was poorly received by many online as it garnered virality in late February 2025, with some calling it sexist for her to call out men specifically.

For example, on February 22nd, 2025, Beabadoobee posted another video clarifying her stance on the meme. In the video, she relates the situation to bullying at school, saying it started funny but after a while, got annoying, rude and hurt her feelings. She explains that she "got angry" and that's why she made the video. She claims that the video didn't annoy her, but the comments it inspired. She blames the comments on "incel culture" and apologizes if it seems like she's "grouping individuals," but says it's mostly men making sexual and harassing comments towards her.

She then says she's commented on the memes before and written that they're funny, but the spamming is what got to her. She then apologized for some of the comments she made in the video but said that they were not sexist towards men. Beabadoobee ends by saying she's tired of feeling like a punching bag.

The video was reuploaded by TikToker^[2] @beabadoobegg that day, garnering over 200,000 views in two days.

That same day, she posted an image to her TikTok Story with a long caption about the comments she gets from men. She writes that men have oversexualized her since she was 17 and she's been mistreated by many men online, writing, "You expect me to sit here and say nothing?"

She continued, writing that she feels like it's because she's a girl that her "snap back" was taken as unhinged. She finishes by writing, "the men who say they'll grape me or uncomfortably talk about my private parts or how they have touched them selves to a video, this. This is why it is all a big deal to me."

Online Reactions

The reactions to Beabadoobee's video were largely negative, with some making fun of her for having such a strong reaction to the meme and calling her rant sexist for singling out men and others posting memes about her "crashout." Some Beabadoobee fans also notably defended her.

On February 21st, 2025, X^[3] user @SziIlar posted a screenshot of The Weeknd's track "I Can't Fucking Sing," writing, "beabadoobee reference?" garnering over 101,000 likes in three days.

On February 22nd, 2025, X^[4] user @yballa00 reposted her TikTok Story image talking about the comments along with a laughing reaction image, writing, "so this beabadoobee bitch got compared to youngboy and started talking about r***," garnering over 70,000 likes in two days.

On the same day, the Beabadoobee TikTok^[5] fan account @beabadoobegg made a post defending Beabadoobee, garnering over 250,000 views in two days.

Also on February 22nd, X^[6] user @DailyNoud posted a joke reading, "Beabadoobee says she will be signing up for opera lessons after recent social media rant," garnering over 57,000 likes in two days. X^[7] user @dresserkeery defended Beabadoobee, writing, "men mad at beabadoobee for the most surface level misandry… I hope she tells them to kill themselves next," garnering over 25,000 likes in two days.

On February 23rd, 2025, TikToker^[8] @nabbus_ posted a meme captioned, "My genuine reaction to yabadababoo blaming men for a satire post that should oubviously be a joke," garnering over 170,000 views in a day.

On the same day, the TikTok^[9] fan page @beabadoobegg posted another image defending Beabadoobee, writing, "how incels feel after sending hate comments and bombarding bea with death threats then getting blocked by her and malding about it everywhere," garnering over 530,000 views in a day.
