Overview

The Kevin Leonardo Allegations refers to a series of accusations leveled at content creator Kevin Leonardo for his Discord server, which purportedly allowed minors to discuss sexual and NSFW topics without significant moderation and for claims that he allegedly roleplayed as a child victim on Epstein's island, among other problematic claims, including assertions that he has allegedly had sexual interactions with his cat. Leonardo gained viral fame in June 2023 for his Nair video, an educational video in which he goes full frontal nude to show viewers how to use Nair on their posteriors to remove hair. The allegations against Leonardo were first made in August 2023, becoming more widely known in early 2024 after a YouTuber posted an expose video on Leonardo. The 18+ Discord channel has purportedly since been removed from the server.

Background

Epstein Island Roleplay

On an unclear date prior to August 9th, 2023, Kevin Leonardo uploaded a now-deleted video in which he give roleplay ideas for beginners. In the video, he mentions that he used to have a fantasy in which he would play an Epstein Island victim, saying he got the fantasy after watching a documentary on Jeffrey Epstein. On August 9th, he posted a video to YouTube^[1] explaining the claim. He confirmed it was not satire and that the fantasy comes from a situation when he was 6 years old in Indonesia and was molested twice (shown below).

Discord Server Exposed

On August 24th, 2023, X^[2] user @MintyBadWord posted a thread consisting of several screenshots of Kevin Leonardo's Discord server, The Kevin Klub. In the post, the user alleges that the server, which is meant as a hub for sexual education discussion and general talk about Leonardo's content, allows anyone 13+ to join the server and have free roam of "18+" chatrooms in which users discuss sexual topics. They write that the server essentially started to be used as a hookup site.

While the rules of the server claim you must be 18 to join the rooms, purportedly, there was no protection set to keep minors from the rooms. Screenshots were included showing allegedly underage Discord users chatting in the room (examples shown below). The thread also claims one of the server's mods was 14 years old. The post gained over 200 likes in eight months.

Seemingly, the NSFW rooms have been removed from the server since.

Developments

On February 5th, 2024, X^[3] user @luxibugz posted another thread about Leonardo's Discord server, sharing further screenshots of purported minors talking about NSFW topics and sharing adult images despite it being against the rules (examples shown below).

On April 3rd, YouTuber^[4] HiI'mWonder posted a roughly 80-minute-long video examining Leonardo's content titled, "TikTok's Newest Creep | The Untold Story of Kevin Leonardo," garnering over 400,000 views in two weeks (shown below). In the video, the creator looks through the Epstein clips, clips of Leonardo making claims about having sexual interactions with his cat and goes through the Discord allegations.

Along with the video, a Google Drive^[5] folder was publicly posted by X^[6] user @luxibugz that includes evidence of the inappropriate conduct in Leonardo's Discord server, including screenshots of Leonardo acknowledging the backlash (shown below).

Kevin Leonardo's Response

On April 3rd, 2024, Kevin Leonardo posted a response to the controversy to YouTube,^[7] garnering over 53,000 views in two weeks. In the video, he claims he's never had sexual talks with minors and would never exploit his minors. He then explains how he started his channel to offer sex education to LGBTQ+ people and inadvertently gained minor LGBTQ+ followers along the way, but further defends the content as educational. He also denies the cat allegations, claiming they hurt him the most of all the accusations.

Moderator Leaves Discord

On April 13th, 2024, the purportedly underage moderator on Leonardo's Discord server, META, made a post on the server announcing that they would be leaving their moderation role and insisting Leonardo never groomed them (shown below).

Online Reactions

The allegations against Kevin Leonardo continued to spread online following his response video in mid-April 2024. For example, on April 15th, 2024, a Redditor posted the allegations to the /r/h3h3productions^[8] subreddit, garnering over 300 upvotes in a day.
