On September 6th, 2021, Facebook[1][2] meme pages Nirnposting and Dark Souls Seathposting™ 2 posted the two earliest versions of the meme, with the posts gaining over 2,900 reactions and 910 shares and 1,400 reactions and 1,000 shares, respectively (shown below, left and right).

On September 7th, 2021, Redditor[3] nakib666 posted a Tom and Jerry version of the meme with Tom in a zoot suit and a woman wearing a goth outfit that received over 11,000 upvotes in two weeks (shown below).

For example, on September 8th, 2021, Facebook[4] page Nerd Army's Shitposting posted a version that received over 3,300 reactions and 260 shares (shown below, left).
