About

Good Ol' Rock. Nothing Beats That is a quote said by Bart Simpson in an episode of The Simpsons in which he's preparing to play Lisa in a game of Rock Paper Scissors. In the scene, the audience can hear Lisa's thoughts predicting Bart will throw rock because he always does in the game, followed by Bart thinking "Good ol' rock, nothing beats that!" The scene became an exploitable template mocking how an entity is always predictable.

Origin

In the Season 4, episode 19 episode of The Simpsons, which aired on April 15th, 1993,[1] Lisa and Bart begin to play a game of Rock Paper Scissors.
