Origin
On November 29th, 2023, X[1] user @mekosoff posted a screenshot of a text message they received consisting of a copypasta celebrating Henry Kissinger's death, writing, "i cannot believe this is how i found out," garnering over 27,000 likes in a day (shown below).

On November 29th, 2023, X[2] user @rachelmillman posted a screenshot showing a number of contacts in her phone that she sent the copypasta celebrating Henry Kissinger's death to, writing, "this is my Olympics," garnering over 11,000 likes in a day (shown below).
That day, X[3] user @coopercooperco posted a screenshot of a text she received from @rachelmillman consisting of the copypasta, writing, "This text from @rachelmillman is how I found out he died," garnering over 1,200 likes in a day. Later that day, X[4] user @giltcomplex posted the copypasta, garnering over 14,000 likes in a day (shown below, left and right). That day, the copypasta was posted to /r/copypasta.[5]
