Hi, My Name is Snapple refers to a viral video taken by a man inside a store's beverage refrigerator talking to another man who grabs a Snapple bottle on the other side. He talks to the man like he's the Snapple bottle, saying, "Hi, my name is Snapple. My background consists of watermelon and lemonade. The more you open this door and the more you hold me, my temperature goes down and I'm not drinkable no more. Close the goddamn door!" When he shouts at the end, the man puts the Snapple bottle down and closes the refrigerator. A common caption added to the video read, "Bro listened to Snapple." The original video was shared on TikTok in 2020. It later spread to Instagram via reposts on Reels in 2022. In early 2025, it resurfaced en masse on TikTok, spawning memes and use of its copypasta.

Origin

On July 9th, 2020, TikToker^[1] @majorkeylife posted a video that showed himself pranking one of his store customers by talking to him from inside a beverage refrigerator like he was the bottle of Snapple being picked up. He started by saying, "Hi, my name is Snapple," and ended by shouting, "Close the goddamn door!" Over five years, the video received roughly 600,100 likes (shown below).

In the following years, the video was reposted multiple times across platforms. For instance, it was reposted by YouTuber^[2] assward on July 7th, 2021, receiving over 156,400 views in four years. On May 2nd, 2023, Instagram^[3] user @kaycorpz reposted the video, gaining over 148,700 likes in two years.

On August 19th, 2023, TikToker^[4] @redbeam019 posted the video, adding a Snapchat caption that read, "Bro listened to Snapple," gaining over 48,000 likes in two years (shown below).

On February 26th, 2025, TikToker^[5] @ifollowbacc3 posted a similar video which also added the "Bro listened to Snapple," catchphrase and a Red Circle showing Patrick Star, gaining over 1.1 million likes in five days (shown below).

On March 2nd, TikToker^[6] @peronpmo posted a Druski Dancing meme that used the copypasta from the original video, gaining over 8,900 likes in a day (shown below).
