Hnng Sunday is the third Sunday of every month and a day to which users of Tumblr, a popular blogging/microblogging site, use the code "hnng"on Omegle in hopes of finding more followers. If the "stranger" types "hnng" back, then the two exchange Tumblr URLs.

From a search on Tumblr, one can see that it is very popular with the users of Tumblr. However, from the many screen shots of Omegle conversation, Strangers are often very confused.
According to Urban Dictionary , Hnng is the sound one makes when taking a poop or is constipated.

Origin

The exact date of the meme is unknown, but it is safe to say it is c. May 2010. The first sighting was May 16, but users could have been planning before then.

Tumbr user thisponydefiedgravity has stated that every third Sunday of every month will be Hnng Sunday. The post has received more than 142 likes and reblogs.
