"I Don't Give a Shet (IDGAS)" is a song by Rai Panesar where he repeats the lyrics "I don't give a shit" and sings about how little he gives a shit in general. The song was released in mid-September 2023 alongside a music video and went viral on TikTok throughout October as the subject of lip dubs and captioned video memes using clips of Panesar set to the song alongside jokes about not caring about a given subject.

On June 27th, 2023, musical artist and TikToker[1] @RaiPanesar posted a video where he bangs on a drum and yells "I don't give a shit" several times, garnering over 800,000 views in five months (shown below).

On September 15th, 2023, Panesar released a full version of the song, titled, "I Don't Give a Shet (IDGAS)" on Spotify,[2] along with a music video on YouTube,[3] garnering over 140,000 listens on the former and 63,000 views on the latter in just under two months (shown below). He posted a video to TikTok[4] that day as well, announcing the release of the song, garnering over 1.4 million views in the same span of time.

Panesar continued to promote the song on his TikTok[5] page throughout October, including in an October 7th, 2023 upload where he dances to the song and promotes his merchandise, garnering over 1.7 million views in a month (shown below).

The song became the subject of memes and lip dubs that month. The videos often feature captions describing a problem, with the song's lyrics suggesting the subject does not care about the problem. On October 14th, TikToker[6] @hotandhaunted posted a lip dub to the song that gained over 1.5 million views in just under three weeks (shown below, left). On October 22nd, TikToker[7] @jcsk7 posted a meme captioned "'I wrote your name on the board' 'My reaction:," garnering over 2.3 million views in a week (shown below, right).
