I Warn You, I'm An Animal In Bed refers to an exploitable comic first posted online in 2013. The comic features a woman warning a man that she's an "animal" in bed, implying sexual prowess, only to later act like a domesticated pet. The comic has inspired several redraws with different characters.

Origin

On May 19th, 2013, Reddit user 4ppleseed posted the original comic (shown below) to r/funny.^[1] While the post only received 54 upvotes, it gained popularity in future reposts. The comic was reposted to Tumblr by polaroid-forest on August 11th, 2013,^[2] where it received over 50,000 likes and over 85,000 reblogs in over nine years.

Spread

A redraw of the comic was posted to DeviantArt by Men-dont-scream on July 18th, 2016, and used characters from Hyperdimension Neptunia.^[3] The comic (shown below) received over 146,000 views and over 1,900 favorites in over six years.

The piece became a common template for redraws featuring other characters. On November 19th, 2019, Tumblr user steelcorridor^[4] posted an edit modeled after the Men-dont-scream piece featuring Hatterene, gaining over 240 notes in three years (shown below, left). In 2017, DeviantArt user DarthBarf posted a My Little Pony redraw^[5] (shown below, right).
