I'm So Full From X Yum or Fat Spyro refers to a series of image macros showing a fat Spyro the Dragon captioned "I'm so full from X yum," "X" being something that Spyro has presumably eaten to get fat. The meme was first posted to Facebook in November 2019 with X being "Subway" and spread over the following months as a snowclone format, the word "Subway" photoshopped with new words or phrases.

Origin

On November 1st, 2019, Game Banana^[1] modder Reyriders published a mod for Spyro Reignited Trilogy called "Chunky Spyro" that reskins Spyro to look fat. The title screenshot shows chunky Spyro standing next to the game and mod title (shown below).

On November 10th, 2019, Facebook^[2] user Shit Memes posted an image macro using a cropping of the screenshot, captioned, "IM SO FULL FROM SUBWAY YUM," gaining over 4,200 reactions and 480 shares in just over two years (shown below).

Spread

On November 20th, 2019, a now-deleted Redditor shared the meme to r/okbuddyretard,^[3] gaining 80 upvotes before it was deleted for being a repost. On November 25th, Instagram^[4] user monekeyekey posted a photoshop of the meme replacing the word "Subway" with "cigarettes," gaining over 240 likes in just over two years (shown below). On April 3rd, 2021, Twitter^[5] user @pupcraft shared the meme, gaining over 900 likes.

On April 7th, Gianni Matragrano posted a voice over of the meme to YouTube,^[6] gaining over 453,000 views in a year. On April 13th the cigarettes meme was shared to Tumblr^[7] as a response to a photo of a table lined with cigarettes, gaining over 6,000 notes in a year (shown below, left). On October 13th, Facebook^[8] page Actual Nutritionist Mike Blanchett posted a meme from now-deleted Twitter account @stillnotmatter using a version of the meme about eating loam topsoil (shown below, right).

On October 18th, Instagram^[9] user big_chungles posted a version of the meme about eating lead, gaining over 9,000 likes in six months (shown below, left). On January 17th, 2022, Instagram^[10] user boomer.jim posted a version of the meme about chewing your fingernails, gaining over 26,700 likes in three months (shown below, right).

On January 15th, Twitter^[11] user @ipadbabygf posted a version of the meme replacing X with "biting the skin off the inside of my lip," gaining over 76,000 likes and 9,800 retweets in three months (shown below). On March 30th, Instagram^[12] user botoxqueen1968 posted a meme replacing x with microplastics, gaining over 24,000 likes in three weeks.
