I'm Such a Scoprio is a series of memes that parody people explaining their quirky or sociopathic behavior with their Zodiac sign The memes depict illegal activities and are captioned with excuses such as "omg I'm such a Scorpio."

Origin

On July 23rd, 2018, Twitter[1] user @coochiedeclined made a humorous tweet that parodied people who believe in astrology excusing their behavior with their Zodiac sign. The post gained over 2,300 retweets and 7,100 likes in four years (shown below).

On January 22nd, 2019, Facebook[2] page I made this page to shitpost about alcohol lmao shared an ironic Doge meme post about the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand that gained over 940 reactions and 2,200 shares in three years (authorship unconfirmed; shown below). The image received viral spread and was widely circulated online in the following year; for example, an April 22nd, 2019, repost by Twitter[3] user @dogeposting received over 640 retweets and 2,900 likes in three years. A February 2020 iFunny[4] repost received over 39,000 smiles in two years.

Following the viral spread of the image, the joke achieved notable popularity in memes. For example, prior to September 7th, 2019, Instagram user @bruhmoments made a Dancing Cockroach meme based on the joke (original post no longer available; reupload[5] shown below).



The meme format maintained its presence online in 2021 and 2022 as users captioned images and videos of illegal or sociopathic activity with the phrase. For example, on January 21st, 2022, gimmick Twitter[6] account Media with Deltarune music posted a video caption meme that gained over 15,900 views, 750 retweets and 3,200 likes, and was widely reposted in the following months (shown below).
