About
I'm Turning Into Pomni is a viral video clip of LankyBox co-creator Justin Kroma shaking and yelling, "Aah, I'm turning into Pomni," as he transforms into Pomni from The Amazing Digital Circus. The clip originates from a LankyBox video uploaded to YouTube in December 2023 and became the subject of video edits and referential memes over the following months, including edits that alter the video in various ways.
Origin
On December 25th, 2023, YouTubers[1] Lankybox uploaded a 3am challenge video titled "DO NOT ORDER THE AMAZING DIGITAL CIRCUS HAPPY MEAL AT 3AM!? (EVIL POMNI ATTACKED US!)" in which Justin Kroma attempts to prank his co-host, Adam McArthur, by telling him his got a cursed Amazing Digital Circus Happy Meal. The video begins with a clip of Kroma turning into Pomni, yelling, "Aah, I'm turning into Pomni," then waking up and realizing it was a nightmare (shown below). The video gained over 961,000 views in four months.

The clip became the subject of memes and edits over the following months. On January 26th, 2024, TikToker[2] @bmxmemer posted a video editing the audio of the clip, garnering over 25,000 views in three months (shown below, left). On February 14th, TikToker[3] @lychee.batz posted a meme using the clip that gained over 320,000 views in two months (shown below, right).

On February 24th, YouTuber[4] Alexa And Friends LOL Hi uploaded an isolated version of the clip, garnering over 240,000 views in two months. On March 22nd, YouTuber[5] Ethyaz posted an edit that gained over 344,000 views in a month (shown below).
