In The Stripped Club. Straight Up "Jorking It" refers to a viral post or tweet on X / Twitter by user @laterundulator from May 2023 that read, "in the stripped club. straight up 'jorking it'. and by 'it', haha, well. let's justr say. My peanits." The post subsequently came to be a copypasta and was referenced in numerous memes and jokes on the internet, with people notably using the phrase "jorking it" and "peanits" in early 2024, as well as using the original as a phrasal template by changing certain words.

Origin

On May 2nd, 2023, X[1] user @laterundulator made a post that read, "in the stripped club. straight up "jorking it". and by "it", haha, well. let's justr say. My peanits." The post gathered over 40,000 likes in a month before it was deleted (seen below, left). The user clarified[7] in July 2025 that they were not the first to tweet the sentence, and the original poster is presently unknown.

On June 2nd, Redditor Loose-Source-2583 then posted it to the /r/copypasta[6] subreddit, receiving over 160 upvotes and eight comments in eight months.

On December 7th, 2023, iFunny[2] user @teejmatt posted a meme using the catchphrase in the Neon Genesis Evangelion title card format. The image was reposted to X[3] on January 12th, 2024, where it gathered over 75,000 likes in five days (seen below).

On January 15th, 2024, iFunny[4] user @vee07 posted a Lethal Company meme that gathered over 20,000 smiles and 95 comments in a similar timeframe (seen below, right).

On January 17th, X[5] user @BoWs1rJr posted a meme featuring the Pokémon Xurkitree that read, "In the ultra plant straight up "Xurkin it" and by "it" haha, well, lets justr say. my wiires." The post gathered over 11,000 likes in a day (seen below).
