About

It Could Literally Be Any One Of Us is a line said in the Hotdog Car Sketch in I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson. The line, in conjunction with the scene itself, has been used as a Reaction Image since it's creation. Online, the line and dressing up as a Hotdog have been used in conjunction as a reference to the scene in memes.

Origin

On April 23rd, 2019, the first season of I Think You Should Leave With Tim Robinson aired, with the Hotdog Car sketch appearing in the fifth episode, I'm Wearing One of Their Belts Right Now. In the sketch, a store has a hotdog car crash into it, with the patrons trying to figure out who the driver was. In the store, however, is Tim Robinson dressed in a hotdog costume, with him attempting to persuade the others that he isn't responsible while he clearly is. On October 18th, 2020, the official Netflix YouTube channel[1] uploaded the sketch, where it gained over 3.2 million views in three years (shown below).

Spread

References to the sketch started to get more attention after the show's third season in 2023 aired. That October, people wearing hotdog costumes would film themselves on TikTok Lip Dubbing themselves with the audio from the sketch in the background. On October 29th, 2023, the TikToker shortkatie10[2] uploaded a TikTok of herself reciting the lines in costume, with others filling in the supporting roles, earning over 1,300 likes in one month (shown below).
