About
It's So Big Isn't It? or It's Too Big Isn't It? is an exploitable meme format in which something big or long is photoshopped over the posterior of a piece of art by lunarclaws depicting a girl on her knees looking backward with her posterior facing the viewer, saying, "I-It's so big, isn't it?" The artwork was uploaded to X (Twitter) in 2018 and became the subject of edits over the following years, with some of the most viral examples featuring images of lengthy Wikipedia pages and video games.
Origin
On January 21st, 2018, X[1] user and artist @lunarclaws posted two images of her artwork, the left her original (shown below, left) and the right a meme edit (shown below, right), depicting a girl on her knees wearing knee-high socks with her posterior facing forward, looking over her shoulder, saying through a speech bubble, "I-It's so big isn't it?" In the original, the words, "My love and support for my friends" are painted on her posterior. In the edit, made by an unknown artist, the writing reads, "Wish to listen to 'Africa' by Toto now."
The post itself reveals that the artwork was drawn at an earlier, yet unknown, date, with the user writing, "I get it's a silly meme, so was the original, but please don't mess with other people's art. This is mine. Original vs an edit version that was found on HugeLOL of all places," garnering over 1,300 likes in six years (shown below).
