Iyo, often capitalized as iyo, is a viral TikTok sound and nonsensical slang term originating from a Fortnite voice chat clip featuring various young-sounding players engaging in an increasingly heated exchange of trash talk. The audio includes the line, "If you don't stop talking, I'mma get a little KK to drop a little JJ," followed by one of the players saying, "Iyo," a distinctive pronunciation of "ayo" (slang typically used for grabbing someone's attention or reacting to something crazy).

The audio spread across the platform in June and July 2026 through its use on other gameplay videos mocking the children, and eventually became loosely associated with the Neegy meme, with many of the posts also using the golden caricature-like character.

Origin

The audio originated from a Fortnite voice chat video uploaded to YouTube by content creator BL1TZERZ, also known as Blitzerz.

On June 11th, 2026, YouTuber^[1] Blitzerz uploaded the video titled "We Confronted Lil Curtis…," one of the longer Fortnite trolling and roleplay videos from the channel, with the specific meme audio clip appearing around the 4:25-minute mark. The video received over 113,800 views and 4,350 likes in a month and a half.

The clip features players, many kids, exchanging insults and threats during a Fortnite match, including the line, "If you don't stop talking, I'mma get a little KK to drop a little JJ." During the exchange, one of the players says, "Iyo," pronounced similarly to "ayo" but with a distinctive delivery, which later became the source of the meme.

The audio subsequently spread on TikTok over the following weeks, where it became a recurring sound in Fortnite-related videos and memes.

On July 13th, 2026, TikTok^[2] user @elireylifn posted a video using the meme audio clip. The video received over 928,000 views and 126,000 likes in nine days.

On July 14th, 2026, TikTok^[3] user @2.coolian posted a gameplay video using the meme audio clip, which received over 352,000 views and 42,700 likes in eight days.

On July 16th, 2026, TikTok^[4] user @tubby.hurgle posted a similar video, receiving over 603,000 views and 75,300 likes in six days.

On July 18th, 2026, TikTok^[5] user @littleconconn posted a skit using the audio, acting as though the kids were insulting him. The video received over 350,000 views and 47,000 likes in four days.
