On January 18th, 2021, Facebook^[1] page I'm sad and I listen to Loveless every night posted an Ironic Breaking Bad meme in which Walter White tells Jesse Pinkman to put on "Tired of Sex" by Weezer even it would scare the hoes, referencing Ur Scaring the Hoes meme. The post received over 1,300 likes and 560 shares in four days.

In the following days, the meme was circulated online. For example, on January 18th, 2021, Twitter^[2] user @lcadboy reposted the meme, gaining over 140 likes in four days. On January 20th, 2021, Instagram^[3] page musicmemeposting reposted the meme, gaining over 4,800 likes in two days.

Starting on January 18th, 2021, meme pages on Facebook started using the meme as a format. On January 18th, Facebook user Jayce Germeaux posted the earliest found derivative meme in the comment section of the original post. On January 19th, Facebook^[4] page Nocturnal sleeping pattern 6 posted a version that received over 170 reactions and 430 shares in three days (shown below, left). On January 20th, Redditor^[5] FromPerspectiveOfGod posted a meme about Death Grips' track "Steroids" that received over 1,700 likes in /r/deathgrips subreddit (shown below, right).

The format maintained limited popularity on Facebook, Reddit and Instagram in the following week, with additional variations such as "Jesse, Stop X I'm Really Scared Rn" appearing.
