The Kamehameha is a famous energy attack performed by Goku and various other members of the Dragon Ball cast. It is oftentimes copied in other media and impersonated by fans of the series.
The Kamehameha attack was first used in the Japanese manga series, Dragon Ball, by character Master Roshi who used it to destroy a fleet of attacking warships (anime counterpart shown below). Following this, main protagonist Goku learned the attack, and it soon became his signature move, using it multiple times throughout the series.
On April 20th, 2007, YouTuber woofnz uploaded a recording of a contest at the April 2007 Armageddon Expo in New Zealand in which contestants attempt to preform the most realistic interpretation they can of the Kamehameha (shown below).
Online various YouTubers have created videos of themselves mimicking the Kamehameha with the use of post production software such as After Effects. On April 20th, 2007, YouTuber Horta do Rosário uploaded a compilation of different versions of a Kamehameha attack (shown below, left). On June 30th, 2007, YouTuber mocarg uploaded a video of himself doing the attack with the use of After Effects (shown below, right). He later uploaded several other videos in which he also does a Kamehameha attack.
Others have attempted to explain the Kamehameha and its effects from a scientific standpoint. On September 10th, 2014, YouTuber Jack Chapple (Jacksci) uploaded a video which details what would happen if a person were hit by a Kamehameha wave (shown below, left). On July 30th, 2015, YouTube channel The Film Theorists uploaded an episode of their Film Theory series in which host MatPat attempts to scientifically explain the Kamehameha wave as a telekinetically manipulated form of plasma (shown below, right).
Curse-ye-ha-me-ha / Shin-ye-ha-me-ha
The Curse-ye-ha-me-ha is an attack used by Christian Weston Chandler in an attempt to place a curse upon a person who he deems worth of being placed under said curse. According to the CWC Wiki, Chris himself has described the attack as follows:
When cursing, I feel enraged or really angry; I channel that energy between my hands, gathering them in and throwing them towards either the target I'm angry at, or the ground or skyward; a choice of words are optional, but they do seem to add more oomph to the attack.
The video of Chris using the attack (shown below) has been used as a basis for several different parodies.
