Kanye "On Sight" Sign Trend refers to a TikTok trend inspired by Kanye West's 2013 song "On Sight." In July 2025, TikTokers began posting dramatic videos hanging from traffic signs set to the chorus of the Kanye West song, specifically the lines, "How much do I not give a fuck? Let me show you right now 'fore you give it up." As the trend progressed, many teens online began posting videos hanging from increasingly precarious surfaces (similar to Planking), including railway crossing signs, basketball hoops, road signs and in one case, the top of a billboard. The meme also triggered some controversy online due to internet users who criticized the trend for supposedly trivializing the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

Origin

On August 5th, 2021, Kanye West held a listening event for his album Donda at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. During the song "No Child Left Behind," Kanye was raised into the air and appeared as though he were floating in the spotlight.^[1]

The video came to used in memes with the Kanye song "On Sight" dubbed over it, as seen in a June 14th, 2024, video posted by TikToker^[2] @rico__song02, gathering over 600,000 plays and 30,000 likes in a year.

On June 30th, 2025, TikToker^[3] @5starr.mess posted a video showing his friend hanging from a triangular traffic sign, gathering over 2 million plays and 200,000 likes in a month.

On July 6th, 2025, TikToker^[4] @oli_fluet posted a video participating in the Kanye West Floating trend, standing in a green field and panning to his friend hanging from a sign. The post gathered over 7 million plays and 700,000 likes.

On July 7th, 2025, TikToker^[5] @react1veu posted a video wearing a "Girls Just Wanna C-m" shirt, panning to his friend hanging off a street sign. The post gathered over 3.7 million plays and 500,000 likes in two weeks.

On July 13th, 2025, TikToker^[6] @axaxxaxaxaxxxaa posted a video showing his friends hanging off a street sign as lightning cracked in the background. The video gathered over 12 million views and 2 million likes in ten days.

On July 14th, TikToker^[7] @mikkuumii posted a video showing his female friend hanging from a street sign with her head tipped back. The video gathered over 38 million views and 7 million likes in a week.

On July 20th, TikToker^[8] @qweleeeex posted a video showing their friend hanging from the top of a large billboard, gathering over 12 million views before the video was deleted. A repost is shown below.
