Kid Mewing at the Trump Rally refers to videos of people doing the Bye Bye Mewing Shh gesture at various Trump rallies in early October 2024. Videos of young men holding their finger to their lips before dragging across their jawlines were shared online by Trump supporters who didn't recognize the gesture as a reference to a meme, were concerned that the men were making a threatening gesture instead.

On October 4th, 2024, TikToker[1] @taboopuzzle posted a video of a news broadcast of a Trump rally, supposedly held in Michigan. The video focuses on a young man in the audience behind Trump holding his finger to his lips and then dragging it across his jaw. The video gathered over 3 million plays and 70,000 likes in two days.

Also on October 4th, X[2] user @patriot_savvy posted another video of a young man mewing at a Trump rally, writing, "Would anyone like to explain this to me pls??? Concerning to say the least," and gathering over 37,000 likes in two days.

On October 4th, Matt Wallace reposted the aforementioned video on X[3], gathering over 63,000 likes in two days.
