Starting late in July 2024, the photo became popular among artists as a redraw reference on Twitter / X. For example on July 22nd, 2024, Twitter / X^[2] user @aitommylove uploaded a redraw featuring Dexter from Dexter's Laboratory and Blossom from The Powerpuff Girls in the pose. The post received over 2,200 reposts and 20,000 likes in four days (shown below, left). The next day, Twitter / X^[3] user @lmaoartlmao uploaded fan art of Hitori Goto aka Bocchi and Kita Ikuyo from Bocchi The Rock! that received more than 2,200 reposts and 18,000 likes in three days (shown below, right).

On July 24th, 2024, Twitter / X^[4] user @tangeregg uploaded fan art of the American TV series The Bear fan art based on the photos.
