Memenade is a multi-platform meme compilation channel run by Finnish content creator Arttu. Memenade began posting daily meme compilations on YouTube in December 2018 and garnered over 1.7 million subscribers over the next seven years, in which time he also branched out to platforms like Instagram and TikTok and opened several side channels, including Limenade, Memenade Dark Mode and HandGuys. Memenade posts videos every day at 7 p.m. U.K. time and is known for the phrase, "Daily juicy memes." In early 2025, Memenade's videos became the subject of memes and criticism on TikTok and X / Twitter as users began calling the meme selections out for being cringe and "Reddit-tier." Memenade's videos tend to feature the song remix "Jazz In Paris" by Elie Attieh as background music.

History

On December 16th, 2018, the first video was uploaded to the Memenade YouTube^[1] channel, titled, "France Memes." The video features a robotic text-to-speech voice reading the captions on a collection of memes about France. The video gained over 181,000 views in seven years. On March 4th, 2019, the Memenade_ Instagram^[2] page posted their first meme.

The Memenade YouTube page continued to post videos regularly over the following years, some garnering millions of views, while the Instagram page continued to repost memes. On December 25th, 2019, the YouTuber^[3] posted a video titled "Gaming Memes Only True Gamers Undestand" that gained over 9.6 million views in six years and became one of the channel's most watched videos.

On April 5th, 2020, Memenade posted a video to YouTube^[4] titled "Memes of Your School" that garnered over 12 million views in five years, becoming the channel's most popular video as of February 2025. On July 5th, the now-defunct YouTube^[5] channel Limenade was opened but eventually taken off YouTube for copyright infringement claims.

On September 26th, Arttu started the side YouTube^[6] channel Memenade Dark Mode, featuring similar compilations with somewhat edgier memes.

On November 7th, Memenade hosted a livestream on the Memenade YouTube^[7] channel in which Arttu revealed his face in celebration of one million subscribers, garnering over 3.4 million views in five years. On December 12th, Arttu started the variety YouTube^[8] side-channel HandGuys, although he stopped uploading to the channel in May 2021.

On May 15th, 2021, the @official.memenade TikTok^[9] page posted its first video, garnering over 17,000 views in four years. The videos are vertical meme compilations, similar to the other channels' content. The page's most popular video was uploaded on May 16th, 2021, garnering over 566,000 views in four years. The page has not been uploaded to since May 19th, 2021.

2025 Memenade Hate Memes

On February 15th, 2025, X^[10] user @seiyaposting posted a screenshot of some of the most recent Memenade thumbnails under the caption, "In the big 25," making fun of the YouTuber for still uploading the same style of content in 2025, garnering over 40,000 likes in three days.

In February 2025, TikTokers began posting memes making fun of Memenade and dank Reddit memes in general using an original sound for "Jazz In Paris" by Elie Attieh, which is used in many Memenade videos.

For example, on February 16th, 2025, TikToker^[11] @ivanilgrandioso posted a video set to the song displaying a meme Memenade may have included in a video under the sarcastic caption, "boi this meme is so tuff is so relatable redditors arent I right??" the description reading, "I love memenade," garnering over 1.3 million views in two days.

On February 17th, TikToker^[12] @magezxwe posted a video recording the announcer's voice on their bus, which sounds similar to the text-to-speech used by Memenade, writing, "why does my bus voice sound like its about to deliver Daily Juicy Memes," garnering over 34,000 views in a day.
