Meta Banner Behind Mark Zuckerberg refers to a photo of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg with a large banner that has Meta written on it following the name change of Facebook's parent company in late October 2021. The photo is used as an exploitable in memes by photoshopping various images onto the billboard, gaining prominence on Facebook shortly after the original post from Zuckerberg.
Origin
On October 29th, 2021, Facebook and Meta CEO[1] Mark Zuckerberg uploaded a photo of himself in front of a banner with the logo for Meta, the new company that was announced as part of a shift towards focusing on the Metaverse, which Zuckerberg believes is the future of the company and technology. The photo received more than 3.5 million reactions and 251,000 shares in three days (shown below).
A few hours later, the photo became an exploitable by Facebook users, with one of the first examples being posted by Facebook[2] user Princess Hinghoi, who uploaded a Metal Gear parody that received more than 10,000 reactions and 5,200 shares in three days (shown below).

Later that day, on October 29th, 2021, Facebook[3] user Cyan Sioson uploaded an edited image of Zuckerberg where they added eyebrows. The post received more than 5,100 reactions and 22,000 shares in three days (shown below, left). The next day, the Facebook[4] page It was just a meme bro uploaded a photo that was face swapped to Jerma's face. The post received more than 12,000 reactions and 4,400 shares in less than 48 hours (shown below, right).
