About

The Milwaukee Brewers Karen, a woman later identified as Shannon Kobylarczyk, is a viral video that began making the rounds online in mid-October 2025 after a Milwaukee Brewers MLB fan responded to an LA Dodger fan's trash talk at a baseball game in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, by saying, "Call ICE." In the clip, LA Dodgers fan Ricardo Fosado can be heard recording the crowd at the game, asking, "Why's everybody quiet? What is this?" after the Dodgers scored a point against the home team, prompting the response from an older blonde woman with glasses and a stereotypical Karen haircut. The video was posted to Instagram by user @savagecycles87, where it gathered hundreds of thousands of likes and spread online. The post later led to the woman being identified as Shannon Kobylarczyk, and her employer, ManPowerGroup, also posted a comment saying that she was "no longer" with the organization. Kobylarczyk reportedly resigned as a board member of the Wisconsin branch of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Origin

On October 14th, 2025, the LA Dodgers won 5-1 against the Milwaukee Brewers in game two of the Championship Series.

On October 15th, the Instagram[1] page @savagecycles87 posted a video that gathered over 4 million plays and 130,000 likes in a day.

The post was captioned, captioned, "At the recent Dodgers vs. Brewers game in Milwaukee, something truly disturbing happened. My friend, @rrfosadorr a proud Dodgers fan and a two-time U.S. war veteran, was simply cheering for his team when a woman in the crowd turned around and told him, “Real men drink beer.” Then, unbelievably, she told her husband, "Let's call ICE on him." This kind of racism and ignorance has no place anywhere -- not at a baseball game, not in our communities, not in our country. My friend has served this nation with honor, yet he was treated with hate and disrespect just because of how he looks."

The post continued, "To make matters worse, the woman actually slapped him. No one should ever face harassment or violence because of their race, ethnicity, or background. I'm sharing this because racism is still happening every day — even in places that should bring us together, like a ballgame. We need to speak up when we see it. Silence only helps hate."

Spread
