Origin

Prior to the launch of YouTube, a humorous clip from the 1996 film Bean of the character Mr. Bean, portrayed by British comedian Rowan Atkinson, was spread via file-sharing services such as Kazaa and LimeWire. The clip, titled "Mr Bean Sex Jackass" (with "jackass" used to identify shitpost content), depicted Mr. Bean drying his pants in a museum bathroom, with the process giving the impression that Mr. Bean is dry-humping the hand dryer.
