About
Mulyono is the former name of the current President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, also known as Jokowi. The name grew popular in mid-August 2024 along with the Peringatan Darurat movement of protests in Indonesia after a change in the country's regional election law.
Origin
Joko Widodo was born on June 21st, 1961. His actual given name is Mulyono, which in Javanese means Mulia, or in English, "Glorious." Then in his childhood, Widodo often got sick, so he changed his name to Joko Widodo, which means "healthy and prosperous."[1]
