About
Munting is a slang term used to describe the act of digging up a semi-decomposed corpse and having one person put their mouth over the corpse's orifices while another person jumps on the corpse's stomach to expel the insides into the person's mouth so they can drink them. The term was defined on Urban Dictionary in mid-2004 and became notable online for being overly shocking and disgusting, gaining viral spread through posts and memes sharing or alluding to its meaning. The term gained particular spread on TikTok throughout the 2020s, similar to other terms like "Amish Oil Change."
Origin
On September 12th, 2004, Urban Dictionary[1] user bronson posted a definition for the term "munting" that garnered over 4,600 thumbs-ups in 20 years. This is the earliest known mention of munting online. The definition reads:
A variation of necrophilia involving two live people and one dead (male or female)
To munt: Find and dig up a semi-decomposed corpse, One person then goes down on said corpse whilst the other jumps on the dead person's stomach – causing the juices (decomposed organs, etc.) to be forced from all orifices, These are then drank by the person orally connected to the corpse.
