About
My Mayor Muslim, My Bagels Jewish, My Christian Dior, Knicks in Four or My Mayor's Muslim, My Bagel's Jewish, My Christian's Dior, Knicks in Four is a catchphrase taken from a viral video in early June 2026, uttered by 23-year-old MD Ahnaf Hossain after the NBA team the New York Knicks beat the San Antonio Spurs in the opening game during the 2026 NBA finals. The street interview took place on the night of June 3rd and was shared the following day on the social accounts of the prediction market platform Kalshi, specifically its Knicks-fan robot called "Bing Bot" (@itsbingbot).
The catchphrase references New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani (who's muslim), bagels (which NYC is famous for and originated in Jewish communities), luxury goods brand Christian Dior (also an homage to a lyric by rapper Pop Smoke) and the Knicks winning the NBA playoffs in four games (which they later won in five).
In the days following the initial post of the video, the clip went viral and spread across the internet, becoming a rallying cry and motto for Knicks fans and NYC, with many posting memes and references to it on social media. Numerous products, such as shirts and hats, also began selling merch with the slogan in June 2026. A "Knicks in Five" version also trended online after the team won in five games.
